I can be a bit of a pessimist which I prefer to call realism.  And I can get quite down in the dumps over a lot.  Sometimes I just need a song like this to tell me what I know in my heart.  It’s just nice to hear it.  Maybe you need an it’s-gonna-be-alright song, too.

It’s the anniversary of the week my mother died.  Bittersweet!  Today is the actual day, but as the week goes, she died the Friday after Super Bowl.  No!  The super bowl doesn’t compare to the wonderful woman that was my mother.  Just a point of perspective.  That week was hard but one of the most wonderful weeks of my life.  We sat with her as she crossed from this life to the next.  This is one of her favorite songs.  I have blogged about this song many times but it is now one of my favorite.  Enjoy while I reminisce about my dear mother again.
