Christmas Song Day 6
Another soulful one that I love. We listened to this so much. My children can sing along to this. That doesn't mean they know the song, they can sing it just like BeBe and CeCe!

Christmas Song Day 4
Here we have some of favorite early 70's soul music. The Whispers, a all time favorite! I LOVE this! It is slow soulful and smoooooooth!
Sit back and play it a couple of times, yeah, sing along!

Christmas Song Day 3
If you know me very well you know I LOVE music, all kinds. One of my favorite is soulful music. Someone introduced me to the the Soulful Messiah years ago. Have been a huge fan since. The whole thing is worth a listen but here is a taste.
I'll share more here also. It is that good.

Enjoy!

His Eye is on the Sparrow
Well, I am having no trouble coming up with music to inspire. As these bits of music come to me I am going to put them up here to at least document the music in my head. Right now it is mostly hymns but there may be other music along the way. Music is truly an inspiration.
Today is one of Mother's favorite, of which she had many. This seemed to be one of her favorite ones the last couple of years. I think she felt much fear and this is what helped ease her troubles mind.
His Eye is on the Sparrow, my favorite rendition. This video helped me through the time after Mother died. MANY tears were cried listening to this over and over and over...
Go on, take a listen.

- Why should I feel discouraged, why should the shadows come,
Why should my heart be lonely, and long for heav’n and home,
When Jesus is my portion? My constant Friend is He:
His eye is on the sparrow, and I know He watches me;
His eye is on the sparrow, and I know He watches me.- Refrain:
I sing because I’m happy, I sing because I’m free,
For His eye is on the sparrow, and I know He watches me.
- Refrain:
- “Let not your heart be troubled,” His tender word I hear,
And resting on His goodness, I lose my doubts and fears;
Though by the path He leadeth, but one step I may see;
His eye is on the sparrow, and I know He watches me;
His eye is on the sparrow, and I know He watches me. - Whenever I am tempted, whenever clouds arise,
When songs give place to sighing, when hope within me dies,
I draw the closer to Him, from care He sets me free;
His eye is on the sparrow, and I know He watches me;
His eye is on the sparrow, and I know He watches me.
