These are waiting to be planted but are on the porch to keep from being blown to death by the relentless wind. It has been a really bad year for wind.
Look closely, this is the rosemary garden.
Two very good looking tomato plants that will stay in those containers. We are trying the container tomato idea. We will see how it works.
This is another tomato garden, but we had one stolen by a gopher, from underneath! The gophers have been relentless also.
This is another tomato and basil garden.
Here is the whole raised bed garden complex.
Potato plants.
More potato
Gnome and the shade of my finger, with the dog in the distance.
The first rose is one that came from Mema's house years ago.
The gnomes have made their first moves for the spring. They have been waiting patiently to get out and move around. Here they are:
This gnome has found the thyme that came back from last year. It smells so good!
The bother-in-law shared strawberries with us. I need to find a good place for them, but they still look good.
This is a very special dog. He is waiting to maybe see Miss Daisy who lives next door. He does look hopeful, doesn't he?
We had a little stormy weather this last Wednesday, and the wind was the biggest event. It took down this fence that is now being held up by this rope and some metal stakes. Will it survive until we have time to replace this posts and fence panels? I sure hope so. That will be a fun DIY that the husband and I will do together. We are maybe getting too old for these kind of projects, well maybe not yet. The worst thing about these storms so far this year is that the wind is crazy and we get no rain and if we are lucky enough to get rain the wind follows the rain and it is like a blow-dryer and the moisture is gone. This are we live in is in the nest to worst drought. Another reason I am not a big fan of Oklahoma. We have huge tornadoes, earthquakes daily, drought, and grassfires. TOO MUCH! I guess it could be worse.
