Dinner while he was gone one night. Pancetta, pear, smoky gouda, gluten free crackers, and asiago cheese round out an interesting dinner. This was one of the good ones. I have a tendency to eat poorly when he is gone. Poorly does not mean I don't eat enough, it just means I eat poorly and too much of odd things. Tonight I had a good supper, a salad of arugula and spinach with pear and pancetta and Parmesan cheese and a lemon vinaigrette, and a grilled cheese sandwich with homemade sourdough bread. So I guess it was not all bad.
We took my mother to the occupational therapist today. The pinched nerves in her back/neck cause so much pain. They did a bunch of tests and had her do all kinds of things and came up with the same diagnosis we already had. She stays in bed at night and doesn't move and those nerves cause her hand pain from interrupted nerve signals.
Here she is putting and taking. She will have to learn to not stay in one position all night long to ease the pain. Can she do it?
Had lunch with my favorite son today. Always treasure our time together.
The cats both wanted to sleep on this chair, so here they are sharing! Cats don't share, typically one is in the process of bulllying. This was happening. The one on the right was the bully this time. Cats! Never a dull moment with them.
