Since our daddy died when our mother was 58, Jetta and Mema spent a lot of time together. Jetta never married and did not date. She was 27 when he died. Jetta and mother were companions. They took vacations together and she accompanied mother to see her relatives in Texas.
This is our mother and her three daughters and her only surviving brother.
Jetta and mother enjoyed going to Colorado. Jetta loved the mountains, or at least the Rocky Mountains. Mother had a friend who had a cabin in the lovely town, Westcliffe.
Jetta passed her love for this area on to my three children and especially the son. She took some of her nieces and nephews on vacation to Colorado when she could. Those were some memories!
Can you tell he loved his Jetta. We all did. We all need to visit Colorado in honor of Jetta!
